The PE&O objectives are to educate business owners that they can increase their profits and reduce their workers' compensation insurance premiums by promoting and practicing safety in the workplace. The PE&O will remind everyone of our free small business seminars, free safety consultations, and free safety videos and booklets to the public and other civic organizations throughout New Mexico. In addition, the PE&O will attend various civic events, engage in public appearances, and participate in television and radio interviews. But the main approach will be face-to-face contact with business owners and the public throughout the state.
Overall, the PE&O efforts are to educate, provide and promote good public relations within the WCA community and improve agency processes and methods.
