The Advisory Council on Workers' Compensation and Occupational Disease Disablement is a volunteer board created by law to monitor the workers' compensation system in New Mexico and report annually to the Governor and Legislature.

The Governor appoints members of the council. There are six voting members of the council with three members representing employers and three members representing workers. Under law, the role of the council is strictly advisory. It has no power to make or amend the law.
