Proof of Coverage

The WCA changed the procedure for reporting proof of coverage in New Mexico on August 1, 2003 and revised the program on April 1, 2005. Approved vendors now use the IAIABC format.

The WCA offers you the ability to file an Employer's First Report of Injury (E1) or Notice of Benefit Payment (E6) online. We process online information at 9 am MST Monday - Friday. There will be a delay of one day for data entered. However, your information will be checked for most errors after it's entered. You'll be able to check and see if your E1s were accepted two days following entry. When you follow the link, you'll see instructions on how to sign up for this service.
